Gerard Cosmetics is coming out with some amazing matte lipsticks. They will be releasing them I believe 4 at a time starting with the colors: Nude, Tequila Sunrise, All dolled up and Fire Engine plus Jaclyn Hills own creation called "1995". I was able to get my hands on these lipsticks before they go on sale to the public. I can say I am in LOVE with these colors. The lipsticks glide on smoothly. They do not have a drying affect well at least not on my lips but everyone is different.
Review:
Pigmentation: ❤❤❤❤/❤❤❤❤❤
The one thing that I love about these lipsticks is that they have great pigmentation. You don't have to keep building the color.
Longevity: ❤❤❤❤/❤❤❤❤❤
Okay here is the thing with lipsticks and the longevity of it. I put the lipstick on around 11:30 am and did NOT reapply at all that day. The lipstick stayed on up until around 8:30 pm with some fading. That is over 8+ plus hours of wear. This is after eating, talking and drinking through out the day,Application: ❤❤❤/❤❤❤❤❤
The lipstick are creamy so they are easier to apply then other matte lipsticks I have tried. Other matte lipsticks can be difficult to apply but if you do have a hard time applying them make sure to apply a lip conditioner before your lipstick.Packaging: ❤❤❤/❤❤❤❤❤
The packaging is good quality, they are shaped like bullets. So if you are used to MAC lipsticks then these are the same. I personally like my lipsticks to be uniform on shape, don't ask me why but it might be some OCD I have. They do not in no way, shape and/or form feel or look cheap. The quality is really good.Overall: ❤❤❤/❤❤❤❤❤
I love these lipsticks a lot. I do only have two of the colors but I will definitely be purchasing the rest. They are long lasting with over 8+ of wear and they packaging is small, easy to carry and of course of good quality.
